Activating Your Service

• Arrive in China
• Receive the cell phone package
• Insert the China Mobile/China Unicom SIM card into the cell phone
• Switch on your cell phone
• Your first call will activate the service
• You must be in the People's Republic of China to activate your service.

*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized China SIM card along the perforated edge of its card frame and then insert the SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.

*The PUK is only required to unlock your phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly 3 times using your China cell phone. Your phone may or may not prompt you for a PIN code. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your cell phone. If you enter PUK code incorrectly 10 times, your SIM will be locked forever.

*When calling overseas from the United States to your China cell phone, callers will need to dial 011 followed by country code 86 and your China cell phone number. To call abroad from your China cell phone:

- Standard direct dial calls are 00 + country code + (area code) + phone number from your rental cellular phone. As an example to call to USA from China you would dial      00 1 12345678
- 17951 IP Dialing method, As an example to call to USA from China you would dial 17951 00 1 12345678. Your call will be routed using IP and it can help you to save a big money via this way.

Service Life

Our China Prepaid SIM cards (China Mobile) have a default activation of 90 days. You can easily purchase to extend your service life:

This optional service allows you to forward your North American cell phone number to your Chinese cell phone number so you never miss a call and without incurring international call charges.
